The Renaissance of FB Mondial since 2015

FB Mondial is undoubtedly a prominent figure in this sector, and since its comeback in 2015, has charted a remarkable trajectory of success. This Italian company has expanded its range of motorcycles to meet the needs and fulfill the dreams of thousands of young people and men who find the expression of their personality in riding a motorcycle.

In the tradition of great past riders such as Ubbiali, Pagani, and Ostorero, true pioneers of the extraordinary Italian successes in the racing world, FB Mondial humbly resumed its activities in 2015, returning to its roots in the displacement that allowed it to win the first motorcycle GPs and to successfully launch iconic models such as the HPS and the SMX, each specialized in specific segments of the 125 cc displacement.

Over the years, FB Mondial has embarked on a journey of experimentation and design,
a proud path that is entirely Italian.

With the contribution of the best designers and engineers, in 2023, our range of motorcycles has expanded, offering displacements ranging from the 125 cc Spartan, to the innovative 300 cc FLEX, up to the powerful 452 cc PIEGA. Moreover, the PIEGA is also available in a 125 cc version, to attract both new motorcycle enthusiasts and those who live for the smell of gasoline and the continuous search for new emotions.

Our primary goal is to create emotions, both through our daily work of designing and building motorcycles, and through the experience we want to offer to everyone who chooses an FB Mondial motorcycle.

1948

The Revolutionary Mondial Motorcycle: A Story of Speed

The first Mondial, born around a modern twin-cam engine, marked a milestone as the first 4-stroke engine in the 125cc motorcycle category. This motorcycle embodied the qualities   of lightness and agility favored by Count Giuseppe Boselli, a motorcycle enthusiast and former rider. The motorcycle made its racing debut in Faenza, dominating the race until it was withdrawn due to a minor fault. In the Monza race, Nello Pagani achieved the first victory.   Luigi Cavanna set world speed records over one kilometer and one mile, both from a standing start and a flying start. 

1949

Pagani triumphs in Ostend, Cavanna flies at 160 km/h!

In the first Motorcycle World Championship, in the 125 class,  Nello Pagani won his first title.
At Ostend, Cavanna demolished his previous records.
ue to strong demand, a 125 model was put into production for the public.

1950

Bruno Ruffo and the Mondial 125 Team:

An Unforgettable Triumph

Bruno Ruffo won the world title in the 125 category, ahead of his teammates Gianni Leoni, second, and Carlo Ubbiali, third.

The 125s come in four versions: Touring, Sport, and Supersport. For private pilots, there was the Corsa model.

1951

Carlo Ubbiali Triumphs in the 125 World Championship and New 2-Stroke Models.

Third consecutive world championship: Carlo Ubbiali wins, followed by Gianni Leoni and C. McCandless.
In the production line, the 200 4t and 160 2t models are introduced.

1953

A new chapter in the evolution of motorcycle production began with the start of production of the Sogno model, equipped with the same engine used in the 160 model. This significant step generated great interest among two-wheeler enthusiasts and represents a significant development in the motorcycle industry. The introduction of the Sogno model with the proven 160 engine promises to bring new opportunities and choices to consumers and motorcycle enthusiasts.

1954

Remo Venturi Wins the Milan-Taranto with the New Mondial 175 Single-Cam, Presentation of the 49cc Mondialino.

With the introduction of the new 175 single-cam, Remo Venturi achieved an outright victory in the Milan-Taranto race, ahead of Favillini and Maranghi, also on Mondial 175s, and surpassing motorcycles with displacements of up to 500cc. This triumph represents a considerable success for Mondial. Additionally, coinciding with this event, the 49cc Mondialino with a 2-speed transmission was presented.

1955

Arquinio Provini and the Step Towards the 250: A Story of Victory and Mondial Innovation.

Arquinio Provini achieved victory in the 250 class of the Shell Gold Cup in Imola, riding a 175 that had been suitably modified to reach a slightly higher displacement: the first step towards the 250. This victory marks a turning point in the history of motorcycle racing. Additionally, coinciding with this milestone, the production of the 175 TV single-cam chain-driven model began, a project conceived by engineer Prampolini.

1956

Emilio Ostorero Italian Motocross Champion and the Success of the Mondial 125 Champion.

Emilio Ostorero triumphed in the Italian Motocross Championship, marking a significant success in his career. Meanwhile, in the production line, the 125 Champion model makes its debut, characterized by pushrods and rockers, which will prove to be the best-selling model among Mondial motorcycles.

1965

Generation Shift in the Mondial Company: Massimo Boselli and the New Era of 50cc Motorcycles and 125cc Motocross.

Due to serious health reasons, Giuseppe Boselli leaves the company, and his nephew Massimo takes over. The latter will mainly dedicate himself to the production of charming 50cc motorcycles and 125cc motocross bikes with Sachs engines.

2015

The Rebirth of F.B. Mondial in 2015 and Its Rise as a Benchmark in the Motorcycle World.

In 2015, F.B. Mondial made its grand return, presenting the HPS 125 at the renowned EICMA show. This marks a significant rebirth for the brand. Over the years, the company has grown steadily and has become a benchmark in the motorcycle world. Each year, it introduces new models to the market, striving to satisfy the public with a wide range of displacements and innovative features. This continuous evolution has solidified F.B. Mondial’s position as a leading brand in the motorcycle industry, with a keen eye on the needs and desires of modern motorcyclists.

2016

The rise of the HPS 300 CC

After the resounding success of the Hipster 125 cc, 2016 marks the arrival of the HPS 300 cc, the bigger sister with a larger heart. This motorcycle quickly establishes itself, capturing the enthusiasm of aficionados with its higher displacement and adventurous spirit.

2017

The affirmation with the SMX 125 cc

FB Mondial responds to market demands by launching the SMX 125 cc in 2017. Designed for the “new centaurs,” this model best expresses the freedom and adrenaline that only two wheels can offer, capturing the widest segment of motorcycle enthusiasts.

2018

The tribute with the SPORT CLASSIC PAGANI 125cc and 300cc

In 2018, FB Mondial continues to lead design innovation with the launch of the Sport Classic Pagani in 125 cc and 300 cc displacements. This model pays tribute to the legendary first motorcycle world champion, merging history and style in a perfect union.

2019

The revolution of the FLAT TRACK

2019 sees FB Mondial expand its horizons with the launch of an authentic Flat Track motorcycle. From a legacy of oval racing, this model brings the competitive spirit of the brand directly to the streets, offering an unparalleled riding experience and further diversifying the brand’s offerings.

2020

The innovative IMOLA

FB Mondial reinvents itself in the scooter world with the Imola in 2020. With a futuristic and refined design, this model redefines the sporty scooter segment, offering a unique combination of aesthetics and performance.

2021

The elegance of the PIEGA

In 2021, FB Mondial once again enchants with the launch of the Piega, a naked bike that exemplifies unique and sophisticated Italian design. With its powerful and reliable engine, the Piega completes the market segment loved for its distinctive style and excellent performance.

2022

The birth of the SPARTAN

The Spartan makes its debut in 2022, aiming to capture the hearts of the new generations of motorcyclists, particularly the female audience. FB Mondial continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating models with a strong personality and attention to emerging trends.

2023

The leap with PIEGA 452 and FLEX

FB Mondial grows and evolves. At EICMA 2023, the scene is dominated by the launch of two new models, PIEGA 452 and FLEX, which fit into the 300 cc and 500 cc categories. With the touch of the most renowned “pencils” of Italian motorcycle design, FB Mondial expands its range, offering larger displacements and targeting an audience of true enthusiasts who desire intense emotions and models with a strong and unique character.
